Children in this young age group explore and identify objects from their immediate environment. Teachers use the Play Way method to develop pre-literacy and pre-numeracy skills in the children through picture reading and identifying primary colours, among other activities.

Play Group

Children in this young age group explore and identify objects from their immediate environment. Teachers use the Play Way method to develop pre-literacy and pre-numeracy skills in the children through picture reading and identifying primary colours, along with other activities.

LKG

By the time children reach the LKG level, they move to the arena of friends, sharing and following rules – they are highly imaginative and narrate their own stories. In Sky Kids, teachers of LKG move the students from a concrete to an abstract form of learning. In language, they identify ending sounds and short vowels, and start forming Consonant Vowel-Consonant words. They understand numbers, simple number operations and counts with accuracy till 50.

UKG

Teachers of UKG classes encourage children to take an enquiry-based approach to their learning and find answers to specific questions every month. Children are also taken on field trips based thematically on the concepts they are studying. In class, they use their knowledge of letters and sounds to explore blends, and begin to read simple sentences, as well attempt advanced number operations as well.

Nursery

Children in this age group are ready to explore the world around them, so pattern writing and tracing of alphabets and numbers are used to move them from picture reading to identifying beginning sounds in simple words. Nursery children also begin to understand pre number and relational concepts as they move from identifying primary to secondary colours.
